Those 3 sentences cleared up a weeks worth of frustration for myself and three friends, trying to figure out how we were going to manage running so many servers for so few people in our group!
But if it's the way you are saying, than we don't have to worry so much. 5-6 player, should be able to play on a 1.7GHz server with 512RAM, and have no problems playing... Although I may bump up the RAM to 1024RAM!

Thanks for clearing that up!

definetly bump the ram on that computer or you will all be able to run around not fighting :lol:

Woot! you rock. going to try that. Is a twin motherboard overboard thouth? i figure that two cpus on the same board is close to one and a half computers. Maybe i can run 40 or so static zone from one. if i have 3 of them i sould be in a wonderful server..

Have a static ip also. It helps out alot with the config.

ive got 3 comps 1 here 2 at my dads its my newest one at my dads its a dell got a geforce 4 with apex 1024mb and some other stuff but my cousin has 3072 mb of memory cause hes got a sony vio and its got 6 sticks of 512mb in it its a kickass comp im gunna run a server off that bad boy

pfft, im running my test server on one pc with 256 mb of ram.
Edit: whoah didn't realize how old this got until i posted sorry...
