Perhaps. although again i don't know anything about programming. All we know is that yes we have correct mob lvls and such, but it seems AC formulas arent exact in emulator and mobs are way easier than they really should be.
This is something way over my head, but again not db related it's more a problem in the actualy source code, since all our data is 100% from live.
*** update. might have figured out the problem. i don't think we ever set up mob's ac. Found a formula on forums with ac's increasing with mob lvl. this may correct it ) ***

Before you modify the DB in any way to accomodate EQEmu formulas, be sure to back it up so we can do something more effective like changing the formulas.

hmm the hp and ac seemed fine, although i didnt pay attention to how much im hitting for
its how much dmg the mobs do that seems really weak, im takin on yellow pumas in commonlands at level 3, i can kill them, but it takes FOREVER cause i was suspoused to die along time ago but they barly hurt me so i just hurt it little by little.

nice. did that ac update. and now mobs take a lot longer to kill.
Takes a few minutes for a group of 4 50ish people kill take out ice giants in vox's lair. Everyting appears on par.
now to see if they can conquer vox (vox does her ae on our server, the other uber mobs do not, as of yet need to add them in)

go to scorp2k, I quit playing it for the exact thing your wanting. Go try and take on a mob that gives you exp on that server and go afk for 30minutes.
If it wasn't for the lag issues id play this server to death. For some reason I am constantly in the yellow and red on lag and go ld alot. This is the only server that does this to me, I don't know why. I just tried it like 4 or 5 days ago and it wasn't any better.
And yea as far as mobs not scowling its like that for a reason. Try going through sebilis and you will find yourself with about 10 frogloks that jump through the walls attacking you. This is true in many dungeons, and its just part of the emu.
If you want to play a hardcore legit server so bad, pay the $14 a month and go back to eqlive. Of course don't expect it to actually work either, eqlive is full of bugs too.

mmmm If you want a hardcore legit server......
take some time & effort & create a kick butt legit EqEmu server
14.00$ is a pain in the ass if you like Everquest, but cant afford it ....

Sorry for your lag Jimbox. It must be something between you and where our server is located. something in between your isp and the server.
I continually ask people about lag and none have any. and i do not either. (server is not hosted locally by me, its dedicated at a datacenter, so i connect like everybody else)
What part of the world are you located at?

I live in Chesapeake Ohio. I actually got it to work pretty decent yesterday. I was on 20 minutes before I went ld. I dont think it is your server, like you said something between me and it.
