Default Questions about MiniLogin

Ok I'm on deployment in the Persian Gulf right now, so I have no internet connection for my laptop (but I can use work computers to check email and messageboards). My latest EQ patch was in early October.

I need to know if I can get it to work on my computer with no internet connection or without patching and if I'll need anything other than the files in Edgar1898's guide.

I can get a family member or friend to download the files I'll need and send them to me so that isn't a big issue.

I'm sorry if this question has been answered somewhere, I couldn't find anything when I searched.

Thanks for any help

You may have some trouble if you're unable to patch EQ, but here's exactly what you'll need for a windows minilogin server:

1. Mysql
2. Kunark database and updates as seen in this tutorial: http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18935
3. The latest everquest patched before 12/15
4. Perl files if you want to have the ability to make quests (no quests are included - this includes binders and transporters) - found in this tutorial: http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17531
5. minilogin

If not, let me know and I will try to help you. What branch of the service are you in?

Ok I got all this stuff and installed. I can get my server up fully, it seems (no errors at all). When I go to run eq, it says it can't connect to eq server?
