Default Server runs fine, but alas no items!

Hi,
Just joined today and setup a server using this guide:
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=ValesEQ

It was really well written and I didn't have a problem setting up the server. However when I booted everything up and got in game I realized there weren't any items at all! Are the item files a separate download not mentioned in the guide? Or maybe I have the files but they are in the wrong location, if so what are the names of the item files? Sorry for the newbie questions. I also apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section.

Thanks!

The items are in the database that you would have downloaded as part of Vales' guide.

What Revision of the server and what revision of the PEQ database are you running, i.e. what did you download from here ?

http://code.google.com/p/projecteqemu/downloads/list

The revision number for the database is in the filename, i.e. peqdb_revNNNN.sql.tar.gz

You will probably find there is an error in one of the logs in your eqemu\logs folder indicating what the problem with loading the items was. Usually it is because the structure of your database and the structure expected by the version of the server you are running don't match.

-- EDIT: 4:41pm - Woops! Completely FAILED to notice this is the Windows help section. Heh. I'll take this over to the Linux side...
