Default help w changing eq host file
im trying to change my eqhost.txt file as the guide says to do with

Host=eqemulator.net:5998

but when i go to save the file is denies me. i have no clue what to do

It is most likely the UAC that is preventing you from changing the eqhost file. Copy the eqhost.txt to your desktop then make the changes..afterwards copy/paste it back to the everquest directory.

For some stupid reason the overwriting of files is allowed by UAC but not the modification of an existing file. How one way is a mod and the other is not is beyond me.
