Question EverQuest LAN question(s)

In comparison between hosting an Emu Server & Emu LAN, which would be more difficult / easier to do?
Or is there any difference as far as the amount of development required goes?
Thank you

Please be more precise. What exactly are you asking about?

Ah sorry, what I am interested in doing is this:
Simply being able to boot EverQuest on a computer without an internet connection, and have other computers connect via LAN where they can all play together.
Would this require less or more work than hosting an EQEmu server?

Ahh. That's still hosting a server. You're just hosting it privately. And, it's about the same amount of work. More work, if you consider the fact that with private (Minilogin) setups, you have to manually change IP addresses for connecting accounts. Whereas, public servers, you do not.

Look around the forums and Wiki for Minilogin Setup. Plenty o' info on this subject to help out.
