Default Help getting started...

I read the Getting Started menu, but I'm still a bit new to this... If there is a part of the site that answers my questions, please point me in that direction. Thank you.

I have a fresh install of EQ Titanium. Yay for me. I downloaded the patch but I haven't moved anything to the EQ folder yet. I've already done the updating of the shortcut and redirecting the login host.

Do I need to move the files from the patch on the site to my EQ folder, or does that just link to a specific server? Thank you.

EQEmu has no patch.

Everything you need to know can be found in our wiki.

just change your eqhost.txt file that is located in your everquest folder to look like this...

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

Fire up eq without patching it and you'll see a nice list of servers.

Like Mattmeck says, it's all in the Wiki. You just have to take the time to read, read and read...

Thanks you two. I did read it, but with the Everquest Emulator available for download is for hosting servers, then? I guess I phrased my original question wrong, but you two answered it regardless. Thanks again.
