error 1017 with minilogin 6

Hello all ( and thanks for minilogin) ill use with eq sometime only with friends.

I have a probleme with account(?) or DB(?)
I ll use eqemu 6.0 DR2 with minilogin 6 (DB PEQ Kunark)
for now ill try only with one PC and minilogin on the same PC.
All seem OK ill see the server but when ill try to get into the game, after few sec ill have a error
1017.

This the same prob like ELKAY:
On the world windows have this texte:

Login with '10516' and 'QMV1I7HNG7'
192.168.0.2: Wrong name/pass: name='10516'


ill also try to look in DB "account" . All seems ok ( IP specified for each user ).

And find no clue on the forum...

Someone have an idea or solution for this ?

I have supicious with DB
So ill try the following:

Try the empty DB with EQEMU 0.6.0-DR2 launch minilogin lauch worl (some error cause DB empty) and 5bootzone.
5bootZone stay freeze after [Status] EmuSharedMem loaded

The world on my server is empty
Ill have door but that all !
Ill use PEQ Kunark...

This is normal ? There is no pathin or mob on PEQ ?

I fixed my problem with 1017 by changing my eqhost loginserver from 192.168.0.1 to my actual ip address 153.32.44.124
just a suggestion. not sure if this would be the same as 127.0.0.1

when i used the internal ip in my eqhost i could still login to the server select but got the 1017 when i tried to log into the server.

Just to help avoid confusion, since some of the posts on this thread don't even go here...

the problem I had was the same as the original post:

Login with '10516' and 'QMV1I7HNG7'

(my server is on 192.168.0.1, pc playing eq connecting from 192.168.0.3)

After looking through lots of 1017 threads and STILL not being able to connect, I ran myself back through the entire setup process, even going so far as deleting my database.

What fixed this (quoted from the HOST A 6.0-DR2 SERVER! + MINILOGIN! (WIN32) thread):

- If you get error 1017 when trying to use minilogin, make a new account and type this in for the account. Replace USERNAME_HERE for your login username.
