Default Quest Tutorial

Hello,

I believe I may have seen such a tutorial on the old forum, but I can't seem to find any such now...

Does anyone have a Perl Quest Tutorial posted?

I've gotten a server running with the Perl-enabled version, everything seems in order. I can get in and run around like my other servers. I'd like to start building quests on this one.

I've got the default.pl in my quests directory.
I've seen references to directories for individual quests, or maybe it's for quests by zone, and I seem to recall someone saying everything goes in the quests directory.

Just a little confused and would like to see a guide, if one exists.

Thanks,

Rodnoldo

Default Quest Tutorial -- found!

Hello, again.

I must have missed the following post...

http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/sho...679#post104679

There is a link to a "EQEMu Quest System Explained" html out at www.scorpicious.net.

Thanks for the information. I'll read that doc and see what I can learn.

If someone has any other such doc, please respond.

Thanks, again.

keep in mind that s3k's tutorials are all/mostly for the old .qst system, which prolly dosent even work on emu anymore.

a better guild would be here:
http://www.projecteq.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=149
which is an older tutorial stolen from here:
http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11052

I am trying to keep the project EQ version up to date as I find errors. Im just too lazy to maintain an additional copy on this forum.
