Default Server issue after booting it..

I finally got my server up and running.. But here are a few issues I am having..

1) I can't seem to set my account to GM status..

2) Characters are starting in the correct places but can't move, they also are starting with no items.

I would really appreciate any help I can get on this. Thank you.

You have 2 options, wait and bitch until somebody helps you or search. One way is faster and makes you look less douchey than the other.

As always, look in your logs. They are likely filled with information you need to fix the problem.

Make sure you have applied any required SQL updates and perhaps the recommended SQL updates if your source code is newer than the database you are using. The change logs generally call these updates out.

Also, check that your maps are in the right place.

Your suggestion worked.. I did that exactly and I am able to walk.. But after setting my account through the DB to 250 status, it will no longer allow that account to even login to the server. I can still login with other accounts... Any idea on that?

If you change it back are you able to login? I haven't updated anything in a few weeks, but my accounts work with a status of 255.

Use Navicat on your new machine, if you are using it like you said you were.

Your main thing is getting all the correct .SQL's sourced from the SVN. Your loading in underneath the world could be issues with your zone table being loaded incorrectly.

I fixed that issue just by updating manually the SVN coding.. I just cant figure out how to set this GM status because when I try to look at direct files such as item files or anything of the sort I cant seem to find them.
