Default Mob Difficulty

I got the guild hall portal to let me go into mesa so I went there with a lvl 40 barely geared sk and was owning yellow and reds ... my health never went below 97% ... even killed a lvl 65 centar ... why is this so and how can I make the mobs normal ... they should have wasted me ...

There are a number of ways to edit the NPCs in a zone. I often use GeorgeS NPC Editor. It allows you to edit them by zone and very quickly with his field commands. He has a section here on the forums:

http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=674

Once you get it up and running he has a Youtube Video Help you can click on from inside the Editor. Its about 30 minutes long but well worth watching.

I hope that helps.
