Default PEQ Clone Requirements?

I've seen lots of tutorials on running low end servers off of your own box at home, but what would it take to run a PEQ clone? One that could support 100'ish people and be stable? I'm assuming that a cable connection wouldn't do it. Mine is 8mbps which translates into about 800KBps down 70KBps up, and I'm pretty sure that you'd need something with considerably higher upstream bandwidth then that. Can someone give me some realistic terms?

I think there are quite a few posts here trying to speculate upload bandwidth. I think the general concensus is 5kbps/player. But I also imagine that changes each time the emulator supports new expansions/player data.

Search around. The info has already been discussed at length.
