Default Installation Problem

I know this is probably going to make a few of you laugh and think I am completely incapable of running the EQEmu at all but... I am having trouble even with the installation of the Titanium itself.

When I insert the first disc I get an error that says:

Code:
Install Shield Wizard

Setup has experienced an error.

Please do the following:
-Close any Running Programs
-Empty your Temporary Folder
-Check your internet connection

Then try to run the setup again.

Error Code: -6001
So the first thing I thought was wrong was that the disc was damaged. When I first opened up the game when I got home, the top disc wasn't snapped into place so it was free to slide around everywhere in the case. I used a microfiber cloth to try and clean the disc and it looked ok.

But, in My Computer it lists the D: (My disc drive) as "EQ Titanium 1" so I know it is reading the disc at least.

Any pointers or troubleshooters on what the hell could be wrong?

Thanks.

PS: Sorry if this isn't the right area, but it seemed to be the most logical choice.
