Default How to let others join my server?

Is there a guide for this somewhere? I have had my own server running for a few months now just for me to mess around on. Thanx to all the help from the forums that is.

I searched around for a guide on how to let others join my server and I found a whole lot of conflicting information in bits and pieces here and there. I believe I need to add accounts/passwords into mysql, set my ip address in the eqemu_config file and do something or another to the login server..?

If you are behind a router, you will need to forward some ports.

7000-7050, 9000 to your server's LAN IP Address. Also if you are running your own login server you will need to forward 5998 and 5999. If you run a ton of zones you will eventually need to move past port 7050, up to 50 will give you an availability of 50 zones.

Ok I forwarded the ports in my router. Was easy enough. Is that everything?
