Default Can't Even Start!

I had eqemu installed before, but since then I have moved and brought only my mac. I partitioned my drive and created a windows partition with XP using boot camp. I've installed Titanium (twice) and done all the "patchme" and new login server changes. I click on the eq.exe file and a few flickers of black then "Eqgame.exe had to close you will lose evrything you were working on blah blah blah". So, what the heck is going on? Might this be a mac boot camp problem? My understanding is that XP runs native and has nothing to do with mac at this point. Any help would be great.

How much free RAM do you have when starting EQ? You want at least 500-750MBs of free RAM depending on what settings you have set for EQ. If you don't have enough, it will give that error. Though, it could possibly be an issue with video card drivers or maybe Direct X version.

I had a problem running it on my laptop because of the widescreen res. I changed my laptop to 1024x768 and got into the game just fine. Then I changed the in game res to 1680x1400 and it was fine. I still need to screw around with settings to maintain my native laptop res and get eqgame to run without crashing. It's a pain to keep switching the res.

Figured it out. My monitor supports high screen res while i guess the game only goes to 1280. Changed to that, then worked. Then changed back and played windowed.
