$1k pledged on his kickstarter (those not familiar, business owners that wish to "kick start" their production can ask the public for pledges, of which are charged only if the goal is met).

Despite Vanguard, I'd like to think Brad can deliver. I've tossed $1k towards more ridiculous things in my time, so, what the heck. Naturally, anyone believing in Brad's vision(s) and abilities, with him at the helm to decide the development team and/or relationships (i.e. no Sigil defining the "all star" team and/or relationships with the likes of say, Micro$oft), I personally believe it might, just maybe, be the game that I am after.. and that is really an updated EQ and/or "successor."

Remind us, or at least me. The only story that I'm aware of is how Sigil rushed the project, much due to the pressure of Microsoft.

And that the first expansion where Brad had no control or involvement what so ever was PoP, which in my humble opinion, was the beginning of the end imo (but to each their own right?).

I remember this being big news back in 2007. I don't know the truth of the matter, but recall that multiple Sigil employees came forward with
disturbing stories. Brad acknowledged *some* of them. Personally I feel that it is more likely than not that more of them are true. Start-ups fail all of the time, but rarely do we get these types of tales afterwards.

Some claims I wasn't aware of until you posted that, thank you. Though, I believe what did it for me was, the fact of where fohguild.org redirects too.

One less backer and $1k less backed now. Thank you. Ashame. I suppose I'll just have to see what becomes of EQLandmark/EQNext now.
