Hey guys, i got a dumb question. Regardless of whether i play eq in windowed mode or full screen i cant alt tab out. The only way i can minimize eq ( regardless of full screen or windowed mode) is by opening task manager through ctrl-alt-del then sometimes, very rarely, the mouse shows up and i can minimize eq, but most of the time theres no cursor. Anyone know why that happens? Thanks!

You can release the mouse by pressing alt-shift-r.
If you have windows xp you can use the windows compatiability toolkit to fix the problem of eq not letting you alt - tab out.
You can download the toolkit here
http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/6/f/a6f42077-eae3-4d4c-8df6-7ac402594127/act30pkg.exe
once you install it select search - query then search for eq.
Double click on the entry it finds.
right click on EQGame.exe and select disable.
That should fix the problem of not being able to alt - tab out.
but if you don't want to go though all that trouble you can just use alt-shift-r instead of alt tab.
