Error 1017 help please

I followed Merth's step by step guide with no problems. I log onto eq useing my forum accnt name and pw, i get to the server i want to join, i click enter world, and right when it is about to put me into loading my characters (right after i click enter world) it boots me to the Sony screen right after that eula thing, then when i log onto my accnt after that again, and i go to the server i want to join agian, and when i click enter world again, it bring up the Error 1017! AK! say something like couldnt connect, couse my version was out of date or something, but i ran the patcher many times and there is no new updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

bah nm, just say haecz's forum reguarding this problem, but seeing as i am brand new to this Emu, i had no warning, oh well i will just wait for it to be fixed to play i guess =/ unless i can do something to my system to play.
