Cant Login to Server

I did everything on the howto forum, patched EQ live, then changed host and did shortcut thing.
I login to server select, choose server, get to character select screen, and then try to login from there.
It takes me to the black "You have been disconnected" screen repeatedly. Any help is appreciated. :wink:

Do you have dial up?
Dose this happen on 1 server or all servers?

Yeah, I have dial up. I never had problems with EQ live though.
And I have only tried Guildwars and Brightblade.

EQEMU is not currently dialup friendly, keep checking back this will eventualy be resolved.

Ok, I have cable now, since dial up wasnt doing it.
I choose character, hit play, and get sent to the beginning of the eq screens. The ones with verant, and all of that, right before the station name+password screen.

Youve been fast to respond so far, which im thankful for.

have you tried this on multiple servers?
is there any error message?

Sorry about the double post before, comp was being goofy and didnt realize the new topic went through.
Anyways, I was able to login to brightblade's server, but when I went in, I was walking for a bit, died from fall damage off of a short fall (I was level 1, I realize the dangers of small falls) but when I respawned I was in a white box.

Thats a safe spot in the zone, sounds like you have everything working.
