how do i get eqadmin to work..

Are you running NT?

I've ran the eqadmin tool in both NT and ME, as well as dinking a little with it in '98. In ME and '98 you just had to be VERY VERY patient, took upwards of 10 mins sometimes to load it - in NT, however, it loaded up in, oh, I'd guess it took it about 20 seconds to compile the whole database.

Also look for a new eqadmin tool released from windcatcher soon that supports all the changes in 3.0

there may be some other similar programs released soon too.
