When I put in my Station Name and Password I recive an error..

The error number is "0016"

It says that I might have the wrong station name or pass but I checked it's all right..

Any ideas how to fix this? My guess it has something to do with the eqhost.txt

If it says 'station name', your eqhost.txt is pointing to live, or you are patching to live, which overwrites the eqhost.txt.

Follow the guide here to change your eqhost.txt and create a shortcut to eqgame with the patchme option to avoid patching.

Or change the contents of your eqhost.txt to:

[Registration Servers]
{
"register.eqemulator.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
"eqlogin2.eqemulator.net:5997"
"eqlogin3.eqemulator.net:5997"
}


Then start/run/cmd

cd to your eq directory

type: eqgame patchme

Although it is counter-intuitive, the 'patchme' option actually means 'don't run the patcher' :roll:

Yah once u do wat derision said it should work
Make sure to refix the eqhost.txt in ur eq directory after every patch to live :)
