WTF where have you been...

EQEMu is everthing but dull. Hell I have been with it for 2.5 years.

(I had another account "Memener" then it became inactive, then I remade it and used Memenerr. And got someone to change it to Memener)

Or in other words I have been here sence 0.3.2. I stoped at 3.5 and came back in around 4.0

I find it kind of funny.... People are whining and crying about all these people leaving. But would you cry and whine if you worked for sony and the janitor quit to go do something else instead?

Most of the people that have left didn't do any actually coding in the past 3-4 months for sure. Exceptions being image and draupner. Image's code broke more stuff than it fixed in the cases i've seen, draupner was a newly appointed jr.dev promoted to dev status.

We've gained FNW who's contributed more than most in recent days. We still have doodman, Wiz (thanks for line of sight it's working great wiz and fnw.) I'm not sure who else is doing behind the scenes coding, S2k might be, and some others. But I just want to thank all the people around that actually care about the project instead of bitching about the people that feel like making a big scene leaving a project to get attention.

This project will only grow stronger with the mature programming base remaining and the immature people taking off.

Most of the people that have "left eqemu" recently(MOST - not all) seemed to have started showing up around the time guildwars(2.0 I think? the one right before image flipped out and released the code, etc)...so they are probably upset about image being kicked off the team more than they're bored or think eqemu is dull now.

I've been on this eqemu.net site for 4 years. The only thing I find dull about it right now is that you can't spawn MOBs or change your race or do other great GM things cause there's no good Non-Legit servers up, which was always the sole reason I played the EQEmu, cuz I never had time to do all that time-consuming leveling up stuff on EQLive.
