Error After Choosing Server

My friend is running Windows XP Home Edition. With a 32MB ATI-Rage Video Card... I've set up the mini-login on my computer and it works fine. But following the readme/same instructions we haven't been able to get his to work. The below error is what pops up when he tries to connect to his mini-server.

Anyone else had this problem / knows how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Those errors can be about anything... Your graphics or sound card bombing out on a DX call... If youre in 16 bit color mode, and this is happening, you might want to check into updating your graphics and sound drivers..
