I like this forum.

I've recently set up an Ikonboard, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for - although it's a decent enough board, I've always wanted forums and sub forums as this one has, and I love its many options.

I checked the FAQ and I looked at the bottom for some sort of branding, and it all looks familiar, but haven't found the info.

Thanks for any info. A URL to the forum software's site would be a big bonus but I'd appreciate just the name. :D

If I had to make a guess I would say PHPBB1.4. The web site is either PHPNuke or PostNuke. I use it for my site and it works great.

Strange coinkydink there, I just downloaded PHPBB tonight and attempted to install it.

Getting an ''internal server error'' so I need to see if my host has set up my MySQL database yet. :| I'm supposed to get up to four databases with my hosting account, sooo..

Anyways, thanks for the info. Much appreciated. :-)

We use vBulletin, because phpBB sucks =/ (I've used it before, it's slow and ick =( )

Also if you can click the "register" button and it will show up with vbulletin as the table header =P

I Don't know why you think phpbb sucks so much, I mean I use it on my site and for a free php forum it is increadibly flexible and fast.. I wouldn't have a single bad thing to say about it.

Thanks folks. :)

Once I go get moved and settled into my own place I can possibly grab this board software. This one is nice and professional.

I still need the MySQL database set up. I just E-Mailed my host so I'll see where they go with it.

New to this having-your-own-host bizzazz, but it's good experience.

I appreciate all of your responses. :)

phpBB is fast for a small forum , I know of some forums with the same amount of members than here running phpBB and its really sloow they need to remove old messages every week else the pages always timeout

Not sure if they do delete old post's all the time but is300.net (http://is300.net/forum/) seems fast as heck for 5k users and 300k+ articles and they are using phpbb...
