Heh me to. I don't have a choice, really. EQW is laggier than ( well something really laggy :p ). And when I try to do the eqgame patchme thing it gives me 1017 error everything i connect.

you forgot the option : hah! im able to log in and play.. woohoo because i play on hogiebane which is running 0.3.4

How does that make a difference, if you have unpatched you can join any other server. And you said yourself that 3.3.1 patched doesn't work for hogiebane....

Unless that was a retorical statement...

current patch works on hogiebane. he is running 0.3.4.

its very unstable though and crashes alot. dont be upset if you still get booted. hogiebane has the best chance of logging in with current patch.

Yeah, I have the latest June 12 patch and SOMETIMES I can play on Hogiebane. Zoning causes me to crash and soemtimes after the crash I cant log back in with the same character and have to make a new one to get back in...to find that the character that I just deleted is still in the world...and Hogibane doesnt have any items just to let all of you know.

I made a character called Veeshan,then went LD in PoF and been there ever since and char wont leave zone :rolleyes: Just gonna delete him though

Damn man, that sucks. :( Those developers are so strict sometimes they're worse than Verant. But thats usually when they're having bad days but lets hope those are few. ;)

the devs are Jon racist!!! lol j/k, but seriously, I think I got banned for eta or flaming this one guy that was flaming me, well it sucks, but I have a awesome monk and shammy on EQLive, both 60, great gear, anyways, I would just like to help out the newbz and stuff, so if you have any problems PM me, im not a programmer though, so dont ask me about c++ or anything, AND DONT ASK ME FOR WAREZ B/C I DIDNT PATCH, jeez, I have like 5000000000 people on aim asking me for warez files

Jon perhaps you understand one reason the devs will ban someone for asking for eq files. It is just that much time taken away from the things you are trying to do.

Regarding how to help the emulator... and easy way is to run the packet collector and collect data. There is one on the source forge page, run packetcollector /? for options. Also there is the program that collects data for the hackersquest program. The hackersquest program should work with the current EQ live, and curently seems to collect more data, including quests, and merchant items. I am working on making all that data convertable to the EQEmu format also.

lurk, im not asking for eq files ><, I said no one ask me for them, people always ask me for them on AIM, grrr... I patched now so I can play on hogiebane :)
