To start with, I know XML, PERL, SQL, etc, so my web dev skills are fine.
Ok, so what I'm wondering is exactly how much you can do with the EQ UI stuff. I mean, what I was
thinking is changing around the merchant window to work off of entirely different factors, completely 100%
new variables that it would retrieve from the SQL, but I mean, I would use PERL to do that.
Are the windows just straight XML, are can they be written out with PERL? You know, like
your standard dynamic web page : ). It's either that or you connect to the DB in a totally
different way than I'm familiar with : P. I'm not at the actual server right now, this is just a question
that's been on my mind for awhile and I have no way to test it out and see what the answer is : ).
If I can write perl files or asp.net files or w/e for the windows, that'd rock, but if not : (.
Oh well, looking forward to your answer : )

You can mess around with it quite a bit but most of it is controlled by the client and some of it you can't change. Not sure if you've looked at eqinterface.com, but you could start there. I don't think it will let you do it the way you are describing. I've messed around with them some, but you should probably post a question over there and see what the folks that know more about it tell you. You can also try at shakahr.com too. That guy is really knowledgable on the interface and could probably answer your questions pretty easily.
