Cusomization Guides

Are there guides for customizing a server? I have read How to Create NPCs (http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=CategoryCreateNPC), How to Place Objects (http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=ObjectPlacement) etc but I still have a lot of questions. For example, how do I set my character to be a GM? Is there a list of GM commands? How do I create a new zone? How do I set up quests for the zone? These are just a couple questions I have. Are there guides for these things?

There is no single guide to walk you through all this, but there are some very good guides available.
