View Full Version : bas.eqg in UF client was smaller

I had a little problem (now fixed) with the "a leatherhide basilik" showing up
as humans. The "GlobalLoad fix" did not effect this. It was only these
particular npc's showing up with UF client, so I did some comparing with the
SoD files, (since they were showing up properly with that client) and found
that the file "bas.eqg" in UF client was only a little over 900kb and the one
from SoD client was 1.85 MB in size.
So I copied that file over and it fixed the problem.

Just an update to this for anyone else interested.
I went through all the files in the main eq folder of my UF client and
compared them (in size) to the files in the SoD client.
I found a bunch more (obviously too small) files to copy over, so I made a
list of all of them;

bas.eqg
bothunder.mp3
dest_sphere_shield.eqg
discordtower.zon
freeportacademy.eqg
frozenshadow_chr.s3d
gukh.s3d

I zoned into the obvious ones here just to see if there was any problems.
Before I copied over the freeportacademy.eqg I wasn't able to zone into
the Arcane. But now I can.
I also found that all the "barter files were missing from my UF client, so I
copied them over as well;

barter.emt
barter.eqg
barter.mp3
barter_assets.txt
barter_EnviromentEmitters.txt

I didn't try to setup a barter, but the barter window seems to open
no problem, so not sure if the barter system works or not in UF.

Barter used to be a separate zone, but now it's combined into the existing bazaar - hence why those files were not included.
