I am interested in playing on Project 1999, but read that they only support Everquest: Titanium. Does anyone know where I can buy a copy? I was also wondering if anyone knows if it works on Windows 7?
Thank you

I tried shopping around and I couldn't find it anywhere for a reasonable amount. When I first found EQEmu, I really wanted to play and I searched for Everquest: Titanium and got a copy of the discs on Amazon for only $20. Now, everyone is selling them for over $70 and higher!
Other than watching Amazon and Ebay to see if the price drops (which I doubt it will since they are probably no longer available for purchase due to F2P versions of EQ and EQII), you are looking at $70-$120 for a set.

That is what I was thinking... and I am assuming it will work on Windows 7.

It works on Windows 7, but don't install it under Program Files or Program Files (x86) and you'll save yourself a lot of hassle.

@GildoranTZ - Sorry I couldn't be any help. If I find a cheap set, I will let you know ASAP. I would say try a BitTorrent, but there are two problems:
1.) Not exactly the most legal way to obtain the files, and I don't know if you could get it to work properly with Windows7 from BitTorrent.
2.) BitTorrent isn't exactly the safest thing to use as you never know what may or may not be in there.
I would listen to lerxst2112 as far as installation. I know when I installed mine, I had F2P EQ on my drive so I just renamed the install from EverQuest to EverQuestTitanium, and mine worked fine.

@lerxst2112 - My dad installed it with my discs, and his dosen't work. Is that because he didn't rename it, or because of where he installed it to (I believe it was either Program Files or (x86).)?

Without more details I don't think anyone could guess why it doesn't work, but installing it outside program files definitely lowers the number of issues you might have.
