Just tried my first cmake build.

1) changed cmake to Release
2) Made sure the perl/mysql configs pointed to my directories
3) generate/build
4) opened VS
5) opend the new .sln in the /build directory
6) clean solution
7) Made sure it was on /release version (now 9 objects in solution, no chatserver listed)
8) Build solution (1 skip, 8 ok)
9) went to /bin/ and all there but now chatserver.exes to be found

Also

Went to the new /utils/config to get the .conf files but noticed VoA is missing? (didn't use it...just observation)

Also-also

What is the new updated_templates folder in the /utils/defaults? new html gui?

there is no chatserver anymore. it's ucs now for chat and mail.

they skipped voa and went to rof because rof was freely available, but not voa, i believe. not sure if there were too many differences, other than content.

HoT and VoA never had 'publicly available' stable clients.

Since RoF came out and was available as a Steam download, server development proceeded as such.
