loadskin default_old crashes me on UF install but not Titanium...

basically I would like to use the "default_old" look but get the improvements/functionality that I heard UF offers. So I installed UF and the interface is pretty brutal -- especially inspecting items.

I'd really like to know if there's a way I can utilize default_old skin to get a more "classic everquest" feel. But right now, if I loadskin default_ui it simply crashes my client, and I can only log back in if I delete the character's files in the Everquest directory.

Any help?

Either find a version of default_old made for UF, or write your own.

Try looking in your UIErrors.txt file. It is in the root of the EQ directory. It will give you some insight into the errors the UI is throwing. Be prepared though, if you don't know any programming it is going to be very cryptic.
