Worn type vs Focus type

I am making several items for my server and wondering if someone could explain the difference between worn type and focus type.

Also is there a way to tell if a spell effect will work as a worn type. Or possibly a list some has made of spell effects that work as worn effects. I have ran into several that will work as a clicky but not a worn type. Thanks in advance for any help.

Some spell effects will work as a worn type (sow) for example will work. You just have to experiment with them and see what works.

You can look into nimbus effects for cool pure graphical spell effects to have as worn effects as well.

thank you for the reply. I really wanted to get SE_CastonNumHitFade to work as a worn effect but have not been able to get it to work. Thought it would be cool if after being hit X number of times a spell proced.
