Newbie question

Please pardon the newb question. How do i find mobs that don't kill me with one hit? There are no newb mobs in butcherblock. I've only run into a wandering greenblood that does 54 per hit. Even decked out in summoned armor and weapon he kicked my butt in no time.

I can use the #search, #summonitem, etc. commands but some commands reply with something about my status isn't sufficient to complete the command.

Are there more comprehensive instructions?
