i run everquest.exe and it searches for updates, when its finished i click play. After that i click accept on the EULA. Next i sign it, the next screen loads and i select a server and click "play everquest".
After that the screen closes and then the eqgame.exe error message comes up.
The first time i played the game it worked fine, but now the second time it doesent work.

Because you're trying to play on an EQEmu server using the latest EQLive patch from sony. EQEmu does not work with the last couple of patches, so you have to download, install and run the EQEmu patcher and run that to get the correct files.

try typing - eqgame.exe patchme - in a DOS window from the directory C:\Program Files\Everquest>
or where ever your Everquest is loaded.

/agree I cannot run either Emu or Reg EQ, Same error message... When I try to load the eqemu, it says Run time error 53, file missing.
