Just copy/paste eqhost.txt and rename the copy to eqhost.live.

Edit: Sorry, this was supposed to go in the thread 'bad username/password'.

And it has absolutly no effect what so ever. Please stop guessing, it's server side not client side

Well it worked for me, don't know why.

No it didn't work for you you just think thats what made it work. Someone edited a databse on the server they shouldn't have and it trashed the replication.

I stand corrected. I'll file this one away as mere coincidence; right after I made the 'fix' I was able to log in fine, and I still am.
I guess my question now is, why are others still not able to get in?

Yup, new here, definately having problems. Been trying since last night (not constantly of course) but still can't get in... Eventually it sits there trying to login into the server rather than poping up 'bad username/password' but then drops to desktop. I don't know whether that is an EQ problem or some kind of stream problem from the server.

This is the exact problem I have been having. all I want to know is if there is any thing we can do to fix this or if its just server side and we have to just sit back and wait for them to fix it?

I can seem to get on my friends account but not on mine...maybe they only activiated Developer Accounts. (not releasing my friends name) I could be wrong of course.

You're gonna have to sit this one out, unfortunately. I feel your pain though, it's making dev work more difficult - and I don't know what's wrong to fix it.
