It's not pointless, he said the server was 24/7 yet only keeps it open for a couple days. Most servers don't have a lot of players at first. Empire had about 3 people online when it first came out....

WR/SoD hands down! Not putting PEQ down for all the great work they have done but why would you want a carbon copy of eq? Just play eq if you still like it, I play on emulated servers for custom...

Personally I like some grind and item camping. Not that much, like if it took 3 weeks of hardcore playing to get max lvl that would be cool, not 5 hours. Why not just insta lvl peeps to max then?

The server list only has a few servers up. I don't see any of the servers posted in the forums up except dr zauis server. Is that all that's up or am I missing something? What ever happen to...

It isn't illegal, it's just that WR doesn't have the time or money to go to court over the CnD. I personally think it is bullshit that SoE has a problem with me playing MY client, the one I PAID for...

I don't have my own server, and being interested in a once great game doesn't make me have a strong (too strong) emotional attachment to the game. I just thought it was a bit much, to each his own.
