I'm a little confused. I thought Guildwars1 took less time to level up than EQ live. So how can GW2 take less time than Guildwars 1 but more time than EQlive?

I'm willing to bet they are going to make a new loading screen and replace the EQ one with an EQEmu one. That's just my guess though...

I have found the best place to look for the best gear is Allakazahm's. You can just put in your class, what piece you want, and how you wanted it sorted. So I just put in "Total Stats" and scroll...
