Default Guildwars 2 questions

Some of these questions may seem like no-brainers for those of you in the know, but with the impending return of GW2, those of us who aren't and had characters on the old GW, would probably like to know the following:

01) Are casters still broken? (They were _absolutely_ dominated by melees in GW1.)
02) Are enchanters allowed to use their charmed pets on PC's?
03) Same as above, but against gods
04) Are resistances working (blocking root with 150+ magic resistance, for example)
05) Is charm player removed? (This was a big issue, IIRC)
06) Players were, for the most part, discouraged from killing one another. Has this changed?
07) Will item drops, such as the Glowing Black Stone, be available this time?
08) Has the experience engine been altered? If so, will it take less or more time to level than before?
09) How many players will the server be able handle? (It may be crowded, which could cause problems)

And last, but not the least by any means...

10) Do we need to start worrying about a GW3 player wipe?

That is all. TIA!

I'm a little confused. I thought Guildwars1 took less time to level up than EQ live. So how can GW2 take less time than Guildwars 1 but more time than EQlive?
