No need to use MySQL-Front, because everything is now working. I am guessing it was the firewall software that did it (did them both at the same time), rather than MySQL software. Thank you very much...

Local servers would go through the minilogin setup (I believe), so follow these instructions. Also for future reference, so you dont get your head ripped off by other people, use the Search tool....
