Getting the world server log?
Look at the console window for Server, let me take a new screenshot and post it so you can see it right now.

Note: That's Windows Server 2003 x64 OS, I just modified the interface of it.
-econsole replacing cmd.exe
-themexp replacing the interface/shell/GUI

The top window is world.exe, the middle is minilogin.exe, the bottom is Zone.exe

Pretty sure you guys have 2 completely different issues being discussed in this thread. Unless I am wrong, spbmxer just wants to be able to play, not run his own server.

Oh, didn't see him reply exactly what he was doing, but it does sound more like his issue is his copy of EQ. Then again I'm kind of drunk right now, so my ability to comprehend is moderately impaired.

oh, there it is.

External server, not local that looks like.

..wait, shouldn't there be a port number?

Check your EQHosts file for port. ip-216.59.33.140:5999-port
