MS-DOS - gotta love it

I installed MSN the other day, it worked just fine, i chatted with friends, etc... Then one morning it decides not to work. Why? Because now its saying my OLEAUT32.dll file is outdated and i haven't updated MSN at all since i installed it. I downloaded the file from www.dll-files.com, extracted it into windows\system folder. It wouldn't let me overwrite because I was in windows. Now here is the part I need help with: overwriting the file in MS-DOS so it will work. Thats it. I did read a guide on how to do it, but it didn't work for me, so asking here

Also item editor and eqhost changer don't even work because of this damn file being outdated. I just wanna know how it became outdated over night.

haha, i found a fix! I downloaded the patcher program, and installed it, it came with that dll so the patcher fixed my MSN, woot! LOL
