Default In game pathing commands anyone?

Would anyone care for me to write some in game pathing commands to making pathing mobs easier? Say like you target a mob then run around using a command to add path points? ie.
#pathpoint start
#pathpoint add
#pathpoint removelast
#pathpoint end

Would make it a LOT easier to get mobs not to look silly and hop around with varying z coordinate values. Can anyone think of some other way to do the commands or problems I may run into?

Guess I would need something more like this:

#pathpoint start <type of pathing used for mob>
#pathpoint add <stop delay>

instead of what I had above.

Sounds like a great idea. Trying to get the pathing done by adding points in right now is a pain in the ass. In game commands would rock.

This is a brilliant idea - give it to serverop or leadGM, and just revoke that right once you're done.

Do you mean as in, target the mob, then run around and use that command, which uses your x/y/z and addes the waypoint to the db?

A system already exists in game to do that. Does it not work for you?

What commands might these be? I haven't found any that will let you path mobs easily while in the game.

Forgive my ignorance - it has been a loooooooooonnnnnnnngggg time since I've touched the inner workings of a server. I knew it had been discussed before :P
