how do i download EQemu??

Due to the inherent stupidity of this post, I have decided to replace it with the lyrics to the classic Stones song: Paint it Black.

*blinks*Whats wrong with the question, in fact i have the same question, i went to the source whatchamacallit and it gave me a billion files to download, and i'm wondering if i could ask without being flamed, i'm sure it will take a shorter time te paste a link than to paste lyrics to a song, thanks! *ducks out*

... You remember that page that you went to to get to the forums? That EQemulator page? Yeah. Go. Right about there. Have fun.

Also, I'm sorry to say this but, if you need to ask this question, you really have no business running a server... just play on someone else's, leveling really isn't that hard.

Hell, if ya can't hack THAT... try the Non-Legit approach.
Sure, small children will cover their ears and scream in your presence once you've done this, but that's just a small price to pay for having level 65 400+ AAs, and the best loot in the game 3 minutes after you login for the first time, right?

There should be a text or something on the main page of the website explaining that we can't tolerate here people that know nothing about computers, databases...
it's clear that a beginner who doesnt understand that the word "Files" under "Summary", "Tasks" and "Sourceforge" is the link to a page where he has to find 4 or 5 uncommented files among 127 must be burnt in public place.
of course, he could have used the guides, that's why, after burning him, we will bath him into acid.
Ok, lets say he found the guides and starts with the 0.5.0 one (which is damn good tho, seriously this time), after 10 rows or so, he reads that he will require a software he certainly doesnt own and to compile something he doesnt have either... remember he doesn't know what to download...
He perhaps tried to find something into the forum... among thousands of messages, speaking of things that may sound like psychedelic to ignorants like him...
Well, what i think is that guy certainly forgot the idea to invest time in eqemu and left the website with a kinda strange feeling.
No, i m not for "encouraging idiocy", but i m totally against that kind of censorship and way of acting, and i dont really like seeing an answer that may help someone deleted just because a guy has woke up in bad mood.

haha, institute an IQ test when assigning logins. If they fail, they get "dumbnoob00001" and increment it. Yes, there are only 99999 possible dumbnoob names, but we can increase it sometime in 2004.

In all seriousness, however, you need to ask support questions in support forums. This is for discussion about the direction of EQEMU.

They should have newbie zappers as common as bug roachers, but i know the feeling being rejected, its not cool that you dont know enough and ur welcome to learn and everyone refuses to talk.
