Problem connecting to login server

I'm running the eqemu.sh script to get the server set up and got everything compiled, sourced the database, etc.

Ran ./start and got things started.

Now I can't connect my client to eqemuloginserver. I get this in my log file:

[Network Error] [08.10.10 - 22:13:53] Recieved application packet from server that had an unknown operation code 0x1000.
[Network] [08.10.10 - 22:15:27] New Titanium client connection from 192.168.1.108:1239
[Network] [08.10.10 - 22:15:27] Client disconnected from the server, removing client.


First question, what is the unknown operation code 0x1000. Second question, why does my client disconnect immediately?
