Weapon Particles

Is there a way to see weapon particles for newer weapons on older clients?

I am using the HoT client and followed the guide on the forums to see all the icons / weapon graphics. But now the issue is .. is there other files I need to copy over to my HoT client to see the Weapon particles?

This weapon should be a red sword with fire coming off of it. I can see the fire on my RoF client .. just not HoT.

Anyone have any ideas?
