1017 error
Loss of connectivity error I get all the time. Im 99% sure that it is my ISP. I have no problems logging in at my brothers house where he has DSL.
At my apartment I have a broadband connection, but its a free service given out by the owner. I share this connection with several people. I know that they have gotten real anal about what acceptable use of the internet is in our building. So maybe they blocked out ports or something. I haven't a clue.
Eqlive I don't have problems connecting to on a friends account, but thats about the only thing I don't have problems with.
I played Diablo 2, and I had troubles connecting to b.net, I have troubles with the emulator server (Winter's Roar in particular, and yes i have all the WR files, etc.)
When I played SWG, I don't recall ever having problems connecting... although I had huge lag problems there.
So I guess its probably my ISP, but if anyone has any suggestions besides "get DSL or cable", then leave some input. It would be most appreciated.
