So what, if u download the software or buy it, you have a license to use whatever version of it you want, they only offer the most recent version, but as long as you "own" the software you can get any version you want, even if sony wont give you the files you still have the rights to them.

you are right stefann.
You have right on them and you can ask to SONY to replace all your files if you lost It.
Because ONLY sony can distribute the files, if you distribute files, you are out the law
