I Installed a brand new copy of Windows Server 2003 last night and got this as well. Just google the file and stick it in your system32 folder. I believe there were actually 2 I had to put in there. But all works fine now.

I ran into this same problem after a fresh install of xp.:( but I found a fix for me that I hope works for others down load and install Sony trial of sound forge this software will install msvcp71.dll. Hope this helps
