I understand the part about looking for a DB, it's kinda difficult since EQEMu is mostly 'roll-your-own'. I've had good luck with either Drawde's 1.1b5 or tcsmyworld's DB. tcsmyworld's is based on Drawdes and includes roaming mobs, which is very cool.

Also, you'll need the 4.4dr1 binaries to get some of the new stuff (I think aggro is in there, but might be in 4.3) Anyways, take a look in the World Building forum for the options.
