Firewall

Firewall does not stop client traffic. Firewall will only mess you up if running a server. Never had problems with any firewalls over 6 years of playing EQ, both Live and EMU. With multiple machines on the inside.

Only when running a server will you need to open ports up, and even then, it's only one port range.

Something else is wrong with your configuration or something, it's NOT the firewall.
